The Checkmate Monitor is cancelled, as we have not been able to finalize the final designs with the Checkmate team. This Checkmate monitor was to have Arcooda components but sadly this project has been cancelled.
Arcooda agreed to cooperate with the Checkmate team to develop a low display lag product that support 15khz as native. The original discussion was that we would supply our monitor panel and our monitor board which would then be assembled into the Checkmate eco-system.
We were instructed that our monitor board needed to be designed in such a way that it would work with the Checkmate “Slot” system. A PCB was designed by our team which would work in the Checkmate system but would lose some of the Checkmate embedded functions (we added extra Arcooda inputs/functions, but lost some of Checkmate's functions). This was cancelled, and Checkmate suggested we provide them with an updated monitor board that supported multiple HDMI and VGA ports and remote control. But then after making these prototypes, Checkmate cancelled this also.
Then, it was agreed that we would give our IP via chipset on the Checkmate motherboard system. We would support Checkmate with custom firmware. But, Checkmate also cancelled this.
Arcooda and our related companies have been selling/making 4:3 ratio monitors since 2001, specializing in 15khz native input to industrial equipment (CNC, manufacturing/etc). We purposely delayed (for nearly 2 years) the release of our 19inch and 21.3inch monitors, and created a unique product to support Checkmate. Sadly, we never received the order and have now closed this file.
For customers who have been waiting for the Checkmate product, please contact Checkmate directly for their standard monitor, or, if you would like to order one of our 19inch 5:4 aspect ratio, or, 21.3inch 4:3 ratio, please contact our team for more information or view our monitor section for the latest offers.
Please note, Arcooda Monitors/specifications are completely different to Checkmate Monitors. Please check the details carefully when making any decision. Arcooda is no longer supporting Checkmate development work.
